The American Association of Pharmaceutical Scientists (AAPS) is the foremost international, interdisciplinary professional community of pharmaceutical scientists. Becoming a member will provide you access to people, information, and opportunities that will strengthen your career. Being part of the AAPS-Pacific student chapter is free of charge and proactive members are honored with graduation regalia. Members also get priority to certain exclusive student events.
The AAPS-Pacific Student Chapter is now offering graduation honor cords to recognize the board and general members who have been actively contributing to the chapter's growth and upheld its values.
Requirements for both Board and General Members:

Has maintained active membership for at least 2 years, with the final year of membership during your graduation year

Attended or participated in organizing 50% of the events through the AAPS-Pacific Student Chapter in the years of active membership

How do I become a member?

For full-time graduate & undergraduate students, the membership fee is $50.
The AAPS-Pacific Student Chapter begins recruiting for new board and general members annually around the Fall. Membership fee reimbursements will only be offered during active recruitment in the Fall. You can sign up for a membership anytime at your own expense outside the recruitment period. To receive your reimbursement during active recruitment, please fill out this form and send to the current Chair.
How do I become a Board member?
The AAPS-Pacific Student Chapter begins recruiting for new board and general members annually around the Fall. Nominations for the additional board members and/or a new executive board will be announced through email. Students who are passionate about community service, student engagement, and actively contributing to the growth and success of the chapter should consider joining the executive board.
